BOARDING INFORMATION

Here at the Horseman’s Club we offer an inexpensive option for our military family to keep their beloved horses. Due to the nature of the facility, we are run as a club and not a straight forward boarding operation. This means you are required to attend 6 work days a year throughout the spring and summer to help maintain the facilities around the property. This includes but is not limited to mowing, weed eating, repairing fence,  picking up debris.  Following some meetings we hold a meeting to discuss any needs of the club. After, we enjoy each other’s company with a potluck! We are a private and self-care facility. There is a one time, refundable deposit per paddock and a monthly membership fee per paddock. The deposit varies based on appraisals of available paddocks and is refunded upon move out once a move-out appraisal is completed. During your membership time, you are responsible for maintaining your paddock, structures, and the area of about 5ft around the exterior. Monthly member ship fee is currently $40 per paddock. As a self-care facility, this does not include any hay, feed, shavings, or care of your horse. Each paddock boasts an average of 40x40 area with an attached stall, porch/overhang, and feed/tack room. We do have additional hay storage in our hay barn for each paddock. We have a manure dumpster that is hauled away monthly for us, a porta-potty that is kept clean and well stocked, hot and cold wash bay, covered crossties, a large arena with good footing, barrels, poles, arena jumps, a large round pen, and a large field for riding with a few cross country jumps. For our required workdays, the club provides all equipment for mowing and repairs.  These can also be used to maintain the grass around your own paddock. We are a very active club with members in all types of disciplines. We are very close to trails on the training areas and next to the MP trail that many utilize for a nearby adventure.
